This is from the user perspective, but the 2.01 upgrade isn't something that
can be user installable on the Zoomer.
It would be something that Casio and Radio Shack would have to decide to add
to new Zoomers. I haven't had the nerve to try to open mine, but I would
think that the ROM chip is soldered into place on the Zoomer to keep costs
down.
The Zoomer applications wouldn't find a quantum leap in performance increase
due to the upgrade. Much of the functionality improvements were made for the
Desk-Top applications GeoWrite, GeoCalc, GeoDraw, and GeoFile. File Linking
was added to the Desk-top as well.

Again, these are my personal thoughts...
