The problem you are having is not with the RAM card itself, but the previous
formatting information on it. I had the same problem about 3 months back
myself. I found two ways to solve it. 1) format the card on a PC with a
PCMCIA drive, giving it exact parameters on the capacity of the card. 2)
Remove the backup battery in the card, and let it sit for 24 hours. This
will erase every last bit of information present on the card, amd should
allow you to reformat it on your zoomer to 100% of it's capacity.. I know
for a fact that EPSON SRAM cards work on the Zoomer, as I had a 2 Meg Epson
SRAM card for 3 months and never had a problem with it. Also, the Newton 1M
SRAM cards that work so well in the Zoomer are actually EPSON SRAM cards with
a different label.
