Sure, the power switch "system" has some idiosyncracies but if it bothers
you, (and the main problem is turning it OFF, not ON, just set the power
manager to shut down automatically after 2 minutes of inactivity. I have
found that a two minute inactivity setting works really well for me.
That way, if you don't want to turn it off, it will turn itself off in
two minutes of non-use. You power switch just might get less wear that
way, too.
