This list (was Re: Battery problems...)

I hate to be negative, but... the volume of messages dealing with selecting
a $3 pack of batteries and working an on/off switch. I thought the original
posting and the 1st couple of responses covered it. I just hate to see this
list turn into a me-too list. Perhaps if a self-appointed expert asked
everyone to send him/her their battery experiences, compiled a list (for the
FAQ) of battery brands, types, characteristics, etc. And subject lines that
don't reflect the content of the message...Arg!!! (oops). This makes
reading archival mail via the WWW *much* easier. And choosing which
messages are applicable or interesting to you. I really enjoy and learn a
lot from this list. I get a couple of other lists in digest form (1 message
per day containing all the postings for that day). It makes managing the
info much easier. Anyone familiar with how to do this? If so, I
(self-appointed point of contact) will be more than willing to assemble any
info you send me and submit it to the Listserv manager to determine if he
would be interested in implementing it. Sorry for blowing off steam here.
