Blair,

The address for the Zoomer mailing list is:

zoomer-list@grot.starconn.com

To subscribe however, you should send mail with the text:

to listserv@grot.starconn.com and wait for a response. It couldn't hurt
to make the subject of your message "subscribe" as well. Then sit back
and watch the messages come in from Zoomer freaks all over the place.
Very fun and sometimes informative.

I will call the guy about the monitor tomorrow and see what I can
arrange. I should be trying to buy just the monitor right? I guess you
want me to talk him down from $250? I will give it a shot but he ain't
likely to be too thrilled to sell the monitor without the system. You
know me though, I'll give it a whirl. As for the monitor, the 1950 is a
good monitor. Very nice for a C= monitor but not as good as some name
brand models. I think it has a .31 dot pitch which is acceptable for the
Amiga and it will sync down so... oh ya, I found a 1200 with 2mb chip
and 40mb hard disk for sale for $550. What do you think? A good deal or
not? Also, you said the PSRAM card (PCMCIA) I told you about was no good
since it was 16 bit RAM but other than being slower is there any
disadvantages to it? After all, a 1200 for games can't be that picky
about the speed of the memory, can it? Lemme know.

Talk to you around 3pm (or so).
