* yes, you can download the freeware version of IZL and program
*I don't understand the question about palm connect and Intellilink...all I use is ZDos which I downloaded here
* Radio Shack sells a modem cable which will connect the Zoomer to an external modem (mine works great)
* the Zoomer is a piece of cake and a joy to work with, you'll also want to get Graffiti replacement handwriting recognition software, a null modem cable to transfer files back and forth to your pc, and I highly recommend upgrading the operating system to expert plus mode (which you can download here, and it comes with ZDos)
