three months?

Kevin,

Maybe the Newton learned your hand in a day, but most definitely not mine. And I have pretty decent handwriting and good printing (benefit of drafting experience) -- the Zoomer happens to do a much better job with my printing than the Newton. True, it won't "learn," but it hasn't had to for my hand. So for this user, the Newton wasn't even in the game "out of the box," while the Zoomer has done well with my printing.

I will agree it does NOT take three months for the Newton to learn your handwriting, but my own experience was that a day was no where near enough. Since I did not spend hours at a time practicing, I found the Newton took several weeks to get up to speed with me (and it still can't get "The" right -- almost always gives me "the").

I'm not tryig to add fuel to Newton vs Zoomer debates... I still see plenty of room for both. Its not which PDA is best, its which PDA is best for you.

Craig

PS. And if anyone wants to ask me which PDA I like best...

Simple, the HP100LX! Guess I'm just a keyboard guy at heart. : )Subj: LOL Craig..good dodge. ;)
