My serial also starts with SG54 and I noticed that having "touch screen to turn on" enabled will severely impact battery life. However, Sharon at HP Palmtop Support (541-715-2004) says that there is no known defect with any Ogo produced to date. The only acknowledged problem is one with the Connectivity Pack (a patch is now available on HP's internet site). Is bogus info (read Ogo bashing) going around or has someone actually had a unit replaced by HP?
